The 2007 NEW Summit is expected to attract more than four hundred of the CPG and retail industry’s leading executives and most promising emerging leaders.

Breaking out

This year's Summit will be expanded with an optional Retail Safari store tour on Monday, October 15, presented by WSL Strategic Retail. Space is limited for this event. The store agenda, which is subject to change, features guided tours of Wal-Mart Plano, day spa Whole Foods Refresh, Bath & Body Works and wine store Best Cellars.

Also new for the 2007 Summit is The NEW Boutique, “a fun silent auction featuring great products and services and benefiting the Network’s Scholarship Fund,” the Network announced. NEW urged companies “to show their support for NEW’s scholarship program by donating products and services to the event.”

The Summit will be immediately followed on October 16-17 by a Deep Dive Into Career Self Management workshop led by Sandra Bushby, NEW mentoring chair and director of Women's Initiatives for KPMG. The workshop will extend attendees’ learning experience for the rest of their careers by helping them understand their individual work styles, maximize relationships, increase effectiveness and build strong mentor partnerships.

The optional Deep Dive and Retail Safari programs will be held in conjunction with the NEW Summit at the full-service Omni Mandalay Hotel, 20 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Dallas. A limited number of hotel rooms at the reduced rate of $169 are available first-come, first-served, from the Omni Mandalay (book by Sunday, Sept. 23, by calling 800 843-6664).
