Wakefern CEO to top bill at NY Metro Networking

Joseph Colalillo will explore leadership Jan. 24

The head of the nation’s largest retailer-owned supermarket cooperative will headline NEW’s upcoming New York Metro networking event January 24 at the Sheraton Meadowlands.

Wakefern Food Corporation President and CEO Joseph Colalillo will speak on the subject of “Leadership: A Passion for People.”

The Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel is located at 2 Meadowlands Plaza in East Rutherford, N.J. The dinner will open with a cocktail reception and conclude around 8:30 p.m.

Wakefern Food Corp. has annual sales in excess of $9 billion dollars. Its ShopRite supermarkets are the region's market leader, and the cooperative is one of the largest employers in the state of New Jersey, with more than 40,000 associates.
